On its own on ice, with sparkling water, or in a cocktail, here are our versions of vermouth, a white and a red, from the South of France. Made from local wine, they are fortified with our eau-de-vie distilled from local wine, macerated for three months with mediterranean plants and citrus, then very lightly sweetened. A typical vermouth profile, rich in aromas from the surrounding garrigue landscape, with a balanced structure.
The color is straw yellow. The aromas are from the local land, juniper, thyme, verbena, bay leaf… Toasted bread and a slight note of oxydation add to the aromatic balance. In the mouth, the slight sweetness and the citrus flavor from the cedrat fruit, enhances everything and creates a beautiful length with a slight bitterness. Once open, keep the bottle chilled and consume within 3 months.
A garnet red color with a slight evolution on the border. A seductive nose from kumquat, fig leaves, savory, bay leaf… In the mouth, the unctuousness of the sweetness is in perfect balance with the tannins and the natural aromas of the local garrigue landscape. Then a light bitterness at the end. Once open, keep the bottle chilled and consume within 3 months.
